Our community groups are a network of small groups that meet weekly across Sydney as gospel communities. They are an integral part of Gracepoint that help us grow deeper relationships with each other around the gospel. We believe in journeying and growing together in making Jesus our treasure in life, and there's no better way to finding more about Jesus than being part of a community group. So each week our community groups meet to study the Bible, encourage each other, and grow together in our love for Jesus and his world.

Each group is made up of 10-15 people ranging from workers, students and families.

Community groups at Gracepoint exist to:

  1. Apply God's word. Merely hearing God's word is not enough (James 1:22, Matthew 7:24). By applying God's word to our lives we seek to be transformed, to grow to be more like Jesus and to enjoy his promises.
  2. Do life together. The Christian life is not meant to be a solo adventure. God intends for us to walk with him in the context of community. Community Groups are a place for us to build intimate relationships, care for one another, and help each other grow in our relationship with Jesus (Ephesians 4:16).
  3. Do mission together. God calls us to love our city and world. Community Groups are a context for us to prayerfully consider ways to love, serve and reach our community with the saving and transforming message of Jesus (Matthew 5:16, 28:18-20).
